Fortitude Academy is an established Taekwon-Do school serving the Reigate community since 2016, offering structured martial arts training across multiple locations and age groups. They specialise in teaching children aged 3 and upwards, alongside family classes for those 9+, with dedicated instructors guiding students from complete beginners to black belt achievement.
Led by Master Hodson VIII and Mrs Hodson VI, the academy boasts over 30 years of combined teaching experience and a proven track record of helping hundreds of students attain black belt status. Classes operate from two Reigate venues: Sandcross Primary School on Wednesdays and Sundays, and Reigate Priory School on Thursdays, with carefully segmented classes including REI Ninjas (ages 3-5), REI Dragons (ages 6-8), REI Dragons/Juniors (ages 6-11), and REI Juniors/Teens (ages 9-16).
What distinguishes Fortitude is their holistic approach to martial arts development, extending beyond physical conditioning to encompass realistic self-defence techniques, flexibility training, traditional patterns, and controlled sparring.
