# Keighley Kick-Box
Keighley Kick-Box is Keighley's premier kickboxing facility offering specialist training in a purpose-built 3,700 sq ft space designed specifically for striking sports. Founded by professional British K1 champion Josh Crowther, the gym caters to people of all ages and abilities, from five-year-olds through to competitive fighters.
The business serves diverse clientele: fitness enthusiasts seeking effective conditioning, individuals wanting to build confidence and self-defence capabilities, and serious competitors preparing for the ring. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, KKB structures classes to allow members to progress at their own pace whilst maintaining high standards of training quality.
What distinguishes Keighley Kick-Box is its emphasis on community and personal development alongside technical excellence. The gym deliberately cultivates a friendly yet disciplined environment with "no egos, just good training and good people." Head coach Josh Crowther brings genuine expertise—a decade of active competition and coaching, professional fighting experience in Thailand, military background with the Parachute Regiment, and Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification. This breadth of knowledge allows him to blend kickboxing with strength and conditioning principles, creating a unique training experience.
The facility also recognises the mental health benefits of combat sports, positioning itself as a solution to declining physical activity and confidence levels. By harnessing the transformative power of martial arts training, KKB aims to create meaningful change—whether through weight loss, self-defence proficiency, or the profound personal growth that comes from training towards one's first competitive fight.
